The song consists of two parts, both recorded on the PS-02 (separately)
and combined in Goldwave.
In both parts, I recorded the rhythm guitar on track 1.
In the first part, I recorded the lead guitar in stereo on tracks 2 and 3.
In the second part, I recorded lead guitar 1 on track 2 and lead guitar 2
on track 3, and panned the tracks 5L and 5R.
Patches used:
rhythm guitar: EP-CHO
lead guitar(s): PS-DRV (with ping-pong echo)
Lessons learned:
I really like the PS-02. The only thing I don't like is that, during
stereo recording on tracks 2 and 3, track 1 is muted. So when I recorded
part 1 of the song, I had to play the lead guitar by just listening to
the drum/bass sound. There is no way to perform part 2 with both guitars in
stereo - you can't hear the first guitar when you record the second one
(I hope that makes sense). So you have all those nice stereo-enhanced effects but
you can't really use them. Also, punch-in and punch-out only work on
single tracks. It is impossible to use it for a stereo recording such as part 1.
These are my two cents.

P.S.: It took me much longer to come up with a title for the song
than with the actual song. And I even don't like the current title much.
Any suggestions on a nicer one?
Michael:
Are you sure you're not Ritchie Blackmore reincarnated? That is some heavy-duty guitar!! I haven't played electrics in many years, but I can sure tell when someone knows what they're doing. Keep it up and see if you can make the mp3 stream instead of having to download the entire thing.<G>

Nicely done. Both your playing and the sound of the PS-02 are impressive.
Holy hot fingers!

Michael J, that is some hot lead guitar. Wow. Your MP3 sounds good too, nice job. The only thing I would change is to mix the backup guitar lower, especially on the second half/song.
Wow, people are really starting to explore the limits of this PS-02. I like the results.
