New Suscriber

Having just become the proud owner of a PS 02 for Xmas, and being a relative novice to the music making business, I have read most of the comments on this sight with interest, trepidation and at times horror.

It appears that I have an extremely versatile piece of equipment, maybe a little tempermental if not handled with care, but one that far surpasses my playing capability.

My questions is, apart from the manual that came with the box, where is the best place to get information on using the PS 02 such that my learning curve is as steep as possible? (bear in mind that I will need to start from basics)

Additionally, I have noticed that the suppliers of equipment etc (pricewatch, newegg) tend to be US based. Are there good value sites in the UK?

Now, where is the 'on' switch?

I got mine back in October. I found this site about three weeks ago. Best one so far.

You've found it man! Any question you can throw at us, we'll do our best to answer... Be sure to post some mp3s when you get a little more comfortable with the machine. Till then, have fun.

For cheapish UK supplies of smartmedia cards try Scan.co.uk and ebuyer.com. 64mb cards are a little over £20.
