UNPLEASANT NOISE!!!!

| When I flick through the effects patches and come to the ones which are linked to the mic (ie acoustic guitar effects and vox effects) I get a really nasty buzzing noise in my ears if the mic isn't switched on. Is this normal?? I don't recall it happening when I first got it.

The only time my PS-02 makes the kind of noise you describe is when the playback volume is higher than I would usually set it, or there is something plugged in to the input jack that doesn’t match the impedance for those patches, or I have the Gain HI when I usually keep it LO for my active pickups. Are any of these things you might have tripped out on. Sure would hate to think a PS-02 is in pain anywhere.
