2 tracks at once?

I've ordered my PS02, so it's in the mail.

Just a quick question before I get it: I saw that you can record in stereo on the PS02. Well, stereo is really two tracks--- left and right.

My question: can you record two tracks at once (or in "stereo") by using the built-in mic and then having an external mic plugged in?

What I'd like to do is be able to record piano with an SM57 miked close, and then with the built-in PS02 mic capturing the room noise.

Stereo recordings of acoustic instruments really expand the sound.

[in essence, the question is if you can record two tracks at once.]

2 tracks at once?
yes, p52's hint states that recording can be done in stereo onto 2 and 3.

Thanks for the page reference. I downloaded the manual and read the hint.

I'm still not sure if I could assign Record to the Input jack and the Built-in mic. We'll see when I get it. If not, oh well... I'm sure it's still cool.

Yes, maybe you would have to use two external mics. I'd be interested to know how you get on.
