| I created a drum and bass pattern, recorded rhythm accoustic on 23, Great. Then recorded a lead on 1 and at about a minute and a half, another lead I recorded kicked in. So I went to an empty song, started over and the same thing happened.
Has anyone ever had this happen? I suspect the Smart Media card (128 Megs). |

I'm experimenting with a 128 Meg card, and I have noticed that kind of thing, too. I can delete songs, but still have parts hanging around. I think we might be zeroing in on the weakness of 128 --- if I do a straight recording on the PS-02 I can record and play back a little over an hour on hi-fi mode, or a little over 2 hours on lo-fi mode. But if I start several little projects and start changing things around, the card seems to get confused, and I have to restore the factory settings via my computer & card reader/writer. Maybe the 128 is the ticket if you need to grab a 2-hour long recording, but maybe we're finding 64 is needed if the task involves a lot of edits.
Can anyone else add to this? |

I noticed it too, even with a 32MB card.
Maybe its a bug in the os ? |
