See other posts on the 128 meg question. With a 128 meg card I have successfully recorded 134 minutes on lo-fi, and it seems there is no problem recording half that on hi-fi.
Several times, however, the 128 meg card has gotten corrupted somehow. I can play back, anything already recorded, but cannot record any more audio. Plenty of time left, but when I hit "record" the word "ERROR" comes on the screen. Each time this has happened, I have copied the original operating system back onto the card (computer -> card reader -> PS-02) and it works again.
I'm trying a 64 meg card now to see if I have any more trouble. So --- 128 megs seems to work for awhile, but can get confused. I'm still watching it to see if I can learn what action confuses the card. 128 seems good for straight, simple long recording, but might be trouble if you need to do a lot of "little" projects that need editing. That's how it seems so far. |
