Basic Tip for getting used to the PS02

Steve

In order to get comfortable with finding which menus/options to use when recording, bouncing, mixdown etc -

Take a simple song with a basic chord progression where you know exactly what you are going to play, 'Hey Joe' worked great for me, but any twelve bar would also be good. Don't worry about recording quality, just get a rhythm track down and get bog standard guitar and vocals over the top.

This way you get used to seeing how Measures are counted, where you need to change chords in the rhythm track and you get practice flitting between the menus for recording Audio tracks and bouncing down etc.

This avoids the initial frustration of trying to match your own riffs to incompatible bass lines and putting rests and fills in the wrong place because you can't count measures properly.

This is an EXCELLENT idea! This site is loaded with very good ideas...glad I stumbled upon it. I'll be checking back on a regular basis as I get more familiar with the PS-02.
