Well you're no longer freeware (rightfully so, excellent utility you have produced) but now you have to put up with customer requests... so here goes: the most useful next addition I can see to your program would be the ability to build full songs (meaning drum and bass parts) via your editor on my pc and then load them directly down to the ps-02. If you have been able to reverse engineer the song files I would think you're 90% there. If not well... that's another thing. Anybody else agree or disagree? Regardless, excellent job on your program, we all owe you thanks for making a cool product even more useful... chris

-> Do you use the full version of the PS02PatternEditor ?
Its possible to build drum and bass pattern, load them to the PS02, reload them an modify again ...

Maybe you mean the PS02SongEditor ?

good point...January 24 2002, 5:00 PM

yes, songeditor... any plans? It would seem the logical extension of your existing program to be able to build the patterns and hear them all strung together as a full song before downloading them to the ps-02. Thanks again, chris

Say "yes" to the song editor!January 27 2002, 3:34 AM

Dear Armin,

I would also like to thank you for doing what Zoom apparently doesn't think it should pay its own engineers to do. To echo Chris' suggestion: a song editor would really make the PS-02 the killer deal! Keep up the excellent work and you'll keep this community very happy.

Marc

found at:

Q: Is it possible to create original rhythm pattern?

A: No, it isnt. Although original rhythm pattern cannot be created by PS-02 itself, it is enable to create pattern freely by using the rhythm track RT-323. As PS-02 and RT323 have compatibility of pattern data, your original rhythm pattern can be played on PS-02 by exporting the rhythm pattern created by RT-323 to PS-02. In addition, the newest rhythm pattern can also be downloaded freely from our website.

Please try.
