PatternEditor 1.0 in practice

...well, itīs funny piling up those dots on the arrange field of the editor and listening to the results but there are some questions left (probably due to a lack of practice):

- why does the Editor offer 8 measurements when the PS-02 can only handle 4 (or can he 8?)?

- it seems that the PS-02 doesnīt accept some of the percussion patterns...(I can hear e.g. the "Conga Lo-2" on my computer but not on the PS-02) ?!

- the bass patterns donīt follow my instructions properly...when played on the PS-02 some of the tunes are one semitone below or so...again, on my computer everything sounds alright...

anyway, I still love my PS-02 and this little programme :-)))

-> The available samples depend on the sounds.sys file you use. My file is for use with the 'Rock Set'. Check the zoom homepage to get the 'Rock Set'. How to use other sets is expaint in the helpfile. Get the latest helpfile/faq from my homepage

-> The bass of the PS02PatternEditor fits to the PS02 if you use 'C-Major' (C-Dur) in the song settings. If you use 'D-Major' everything is transposed 2 semitones. According to the accord type (Major, Minor, Dim, 7th..) of the PS02 everything is changed again.
