Confused
January 20 2002, 3:10 PM
Hi all,
I was a little confused at first as I could not play/see the patterns.
Took me a while to realise but before your can listen to the pattern selected you need to import the pattern
i.e From the FAQ above
How can I listen to pattern in song files ?
- Download a PS02 Song file e.g. from the Zoom homepage or copy one of your PS02 song files to your hard disk (You need a Smart Media reader)
- Use File/'PS02 Song File Selection' to select this PS02 song file
- Select the pattern you like with the combo box (above the event field)
- Click the menu File/'Import PS02 Pattern'
- Press the small '>' button
Step 4 was missing from the FAQ. Now that I am beginning to figure Armin's software out, I have realised the huge potential and configuration changes Armin has opened up for us

Thanks Jerry,
I reworked it - the new helpfile / faq is on my page now. (dont want to post it again here - its to big)
If anybody finds other bugs in the helpfile please send me a EMail.
If anybody finds language errors please send me corrections per EMail. English is only my second language - sorry.
Bye Armin
well done

If English is your second language, programming must be your first. Great job Armin.
Armin..did you research the pxr4 too? before buying?
January 21 2002, 1:58 PM
i am having a hard time deciding which is a)better sounding in terms of guitar amps and effects b) which is easier to work with c) which unit is most flexible d) which units recordings sound better?
i am sorry to be a pest here and i realize a bias but i wonder if a few people did a side by side test?
also even though the pxr4 has 4 tracksx 8= 32 tracks the zoom has 3x10=30 thats close...and it seems the zoom 3 tracks are audio and the drum and bass can be built in so its like a 5 track kindof correct? but the pxr4 needs to use 2 tracks up if you record drums and bass anyhow...correct?
my point is track wise they are close it seems....so i am looking for the reason one would stand out above the other....thanx all
Jerry

Alex,
You should really go and try them both for yourself. There's enough info both already posted here (go through the previous posts) and on Harmony-Central.Com.
At the end of the day you must decide what best fits your purposes/requirements and what you can afford (the PS-02 is cheaper).
Regards
Jerry.

Tommy,
1. Just did!
2. Take £18/$24 pounds off it
Seriously I am sure it is ok. It's a secure ordering service from what I can make out.
Armin, so why do you want the serial numbers of all our PS-02's then ?
BTW when you install the software make sure you put the correct s/n in the windows installer. If you don't it goes ahead with the install but does not prompt you with the intial license box for the full registration when you first run it. It then does'nt work properly ?
Also I tried it on my laptop W2000 and it works great

Jerry

Is it save to order online ?
->Its a secure internet connection 'https' not 'http'.
What will you do with my credit card number ?
-> I will download a lot of xxx pics
No, its a joke - I dont even see your credit card number. I use the professional ordering service 'ShareIt' - they do all the creditcard checks, ordering stuff, send you the full version ... (They charge me about 4$ for it)
