Hiya! Just got a PS-02 and I've got some rhythm pattern questions...
January 10 2002 at 10:46 AM

Jeez, what a great machine! I picked it over the Boss 532 because I got it for real real cheap (on zzounds.com) and it's small so I can take it anywhere. I've even written a little song already and I've only had it for a day!

Anyway...I'm terrible at programming the bass and drums. I down loaded the 323 patterns from the Zoom website. And that prompts some questions:

1. Can I export these to a smartmedia card for the PS-02 and they won't take up an audio track?

2. Can I "preview" these files on the computer before downloading them to smartmedia by playing them on a sequencer? Or do I just guess what's good?

3. Can I edit these files in a sequencer, or use a sequencer to create new MIDI bass/drum files to be used on the PS-02 without taking up an audio track?

Sorry if this topic was brought up before, but I'm new!

thanks a heap. love the site. you guys are super supportive and informative.
