Considering buying a PS02 November 9 2001 at 7:34 PM
Hey, the big question I have so far, after wading through countless online reviews and stuff is:
CAN you actually load your OWN drum tracks and MIDI stuff onto the PS02, or is this just a "planned upgrade" which may never happen? I've read that you can, and then I've heard that these were simply "possible" features for the future. Any help, comments and/or rude remarks would be greatly appreciated.
You can't actually program the drum tracks from scratch but there are plenty of variations of short (1bar) units that can be mixed and matched as much as you like. if you have a zoom rhythmtrak you can program on that and load them on.
I also sometimes use a yamaha drum machine if i cannot get exactly the pattern i want and just record the results onto an audio track.
(you wont run out of tracks as long as you have a large sm card as you can bounce as much as you like.)
if zoom manage to include programmable drums and bass in the next version i will really be amazed!
