couldn't be truer.... but why not get a new memory card and keep your original card as a master back up.

i don't record on my original card and keep it safe just in case there is a problem with any of my other cards. if the worst comes to the worst i can force format (see manual) a card using the original and get it back to the factory settings. |

get yourself a bigger card - 32 and even 64 mb cards are cheap now - try amazon - youll need the space when you want to bounce tracks unless you only want to record three short audios.
