Hi!
My Ps-02 went mad today.
As I turned it on this morning it said "CDRERR" but the Card is absolutely clean an it worked yesterday and I did not cange the card since today!
Did anyone have the same problem?
Unfortuantely, I had the same messsage with a smartmedia which was working the last time I had used it on the PS-02.
Even reformatting could not have it work again.
I lost all my recordings (I was really furious), and I asked a replacement to the company to whom I bought the Smartmedia card (SterlingTek).
I never had this problem again, but I would advice everyone to do frequent backups of their work.

Yepp, right. I asked my guitar dealer and he told me never to keep the smart media disk within the ps-02 while not using it. A small fluctuation in the local power system could erase the disk.
I fixed the problem on my own: I loaded down the system files from the Zoom homepage (http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/download/software/ps02/ps02_index.html) and used a smart media card writer at uni to restore the system data. Now I lost my recordings but at least I can start all over again.
The Zoom holding here in Hamburg/Germany tried to make me sending the smart media card by mail so they´d check it and send it back within the next months...customer service is a foreign word here.
CRDERR

I have found that a CRDERR will result when you switch between mains and battery power (or vice versa) when the PS-02 is turned on. If you want to switch, turn it off. It's worth the wait!
