if you want that kind of speed try halving the tempo and using the higher beats. (16 beats a bar)
another way would be to use an rt 323 (here i go again!). program a very high beat per bar pattern with the tempo very low.

The insert bars function in the Record/Rhythm mode may only allow two digits (99) being the limit, but no one says you can't do it twice. I have had no problems setting up patterns in excess of 176 bars.
