This is in relation to my earlier post about putting effects on drums or bass - I may have found a way to do it with wider implications. First store a NOTHIN patch as stated elsewhere on this site (That is bypass all of the effect modules in effect edit mode). Now loop a STEREO CABLE from your output to your input(make sure the nothin patch is on to save your ears). For now lets just put an effect on the drums so make sure all other audio and the in-built bass is turned down. Go into effect edit of the nothin patch and add some Hall reverb to your drums and if you want some phase (be careful!! as some modules feedback). I've even managed to get some distortion on there by keeping the gain low and the patch level down. Now you can record your drums on an audio track. Thats about all I've managed to do so far but if you follow this principal you should be able to add (multiple)effects AFTER recording to your recorded guitar parts. You might get even better results by running the stereo cable through a mixer before going back into the input.
Let me know your results and if there are any other benifits from this proccess(Like maybe re-recording your whole signal with the mixdown patch??)
that's near on genious. one of the biggest let downs of the ps-02 was the inablility to do any post-recording effects. ive never thought of this before.
all praise

Dempsey ... this technique also allows me to pan the bass track if I'm willing to give up an audio track ... I had asked that question in another post "Panning Rhythm Track?" ... neat idea.

You just eliminated one of my disappointments with the PS-02...
Dude--you were not only thinking outside of the box - you eliminated it. All I can say is THANKS!
