Hey, I am using the ps02 as a microphone FX processor, but I get an awful lot of feedback (hooked up to loudspeakers). I'm sure other people have had the same problems and I was wondering what you guys do to get around it. I tried turning the volume down, but it just about squeals at any volume setting (mic is set to low). Will TRS cables help out?

Are you....October 1 2001, 8:38 PM

(1)using stereo speakers or a proper P.A?
(2)getting the same problem without the PS-02 in your line?
(3) Using high or low gain on your mic settings in the utility menu?
(4)Using an active mic(ie what sort of mic is it)?
(5) Adjusting your mic patch settings in effect edit mode?

How close are you to the speakers?
Make sure also that your mic is pointed away from the speakers(especially if it is uni-directional dynamic)

Let us know how it goes.

thanks, will try it out. i am just using the built in mic, errr- it was actually on "hi" so maybe setting it down to low would do the trick. Will try! Thanks again!
