Panning Rhythm Track?

I think I know the answer to this ... "No" ... but maybe the wizard’s of this forum know of some sort of trick.

Is it possible to pan or mute so that the bass rhythm just goes to one of the stereo channels?

I don't think its possible on the PS-02 but if I'm correct you have been recording onto the computer.
If so record the rhythmn track seperately into N-track using only a mono cable ie a guitar lead. The signal will only come through one channel. Then record your audio (which I guess you want in stereo) with a stereo cable. Kind of tedious but its all I can think of.

Hope that helps.

Stiffler … thanks for the suggestion; I’ll remember it if I ever need it for recording. In this case I was actually interested in using it for monitoring bass while I played lead through my amp to recorded drums, bass and rhythm. I’ve been experimenting with how to get the output of PS-02 to sound good when plugged into my amp. I was interested in selectively piping the bass to a set of external speakers (via one channel), that could handle the low frequencies better than the speakers in my amp. I think I’ve solved that issue another way.
